Man bought a cheap electric tractor from China but when unboxing realizes he’s made a ‘big mistake’ thinking it would be able to be used in North America

This American YouTuber bought a cheap electric tractor from China in the hope he could use it in the United States.

However, a video on EbikeSchool.com’s YouTube channel revealed why the tractor was so cheap.

Micah from the channel took the tractor out of its crate and tested it to see what it could do.

He soon realized he had made a mistake, and the video goes into great detail about why.

Unboxing revealed how primitive the tractor was

There were early warnings about this EV not being up to the task.

Upon inspecting the battery packs for it, the YouTuber saw that the terminals had already started corroding, possibly on their way over to North America.

The average build quality really showed through when he turned the EV on.

It made a sound so loud it sounded like it was about to take off.

Zip ties held some of the components together, and a piece of linkage was loose from the tractor and missing its pin.

The pin was crucial, as it was to hold the bucket onto the telehandler.

The YouTuber gave it a test, picking up some dirt.

While it managed the job, the tractor lost traction as it started to hit the uneven surface.

The YouTuber somehow tips the tractor from China over

Not long into his test, with a full bucket, the YouTuber tips the tractor onto its front wheels.

It appears that when the bucket is full, this Chinese EV can’t handle the load, which is clearly a massive downside.

Another downside is that you can have the vehicle running while doing work on the telehandler.

This could be dangerous if the handler itself were to move as you changed over the attachment at the front.

The YouTuber fitted the forks to the front of the vehicle, but after trying to pick up the bucket with them, they just snapped right off.

The regret of the purchase very quickly begins to add up.

The video highlights further issues with the tractor, including hydraulic problems.

But at the root it all, this EV struggles with grip and weight.

That is what has made this YouTuber really regret his purchase.

He’s not the first to order a vehicle from China with possibly unrealistic expectations.

In fact, the Supercar Blondie team got its hands on a fake Dodge Ram pickup truck from China.

The team was pleasantly surprised with its appearance when they unboxed it, but upon closer inspection, the cracks really started to show.

That didn’t stop Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi and Nathan Bain from putting its power to the test.
