Ghostbusters Plasma Series Slimer Prototype | UNBOXING – Ghostbusters News

With less than two weeks to back the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Ectomobile HasLab, we just received a surprise at the Ghostbusters News HQ sent from Hasbro that, upon opening, warned of a contained Class V Vapor—a really nasty one, too!

Delivering on that promise, today’s feature offers an up-close look at the prototype for the Ectomobile HasLab’s exclusive Slimer figure. This version of the iconic Onionhead boasts an impressive sculpt—arguably one of the best officially licensed renditions to date. Plus, we show off the included ectoplasmic stand and the figure’s articulation.

If you’d like to trap one of these Slimers for your collection—and we don’t mean the prototype, but the likely even better finished, cast in an ectoplasmic green final product—it’s available with either model of the Ectomobile HasLab.

Billed as the first-ever 6-inch-scale Ectomobile featuring lights, sounds, and screen-accurate details, those backing can choose between two options: the Basic Model, which honors the classic 1984 Ghostbusters film and includes not just Slimer but figures of the Library Ghost, and Louis Tully. Then, paying homage to the 1989 sequel, there’s the Deluxe Model, which includes all the Basic Model features plus an Ecto-1A conversion kit and charcoal-suit-clad renditions of Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, Egon Spengler, and Peter Venkman, alongside a host of added accessories.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Ectomobile HasLab campaign as it approaches the December 2nd deadline, with more surprises likely to emerge along the way—so stay tuned! Speaking of HasLabs, if you haven’t already, make sure to subscribe to Ghostbusters News on YouTube and turn on notifications. This weekend, we’ll be sharing an early review of the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Two-in-the-Box, highlighting all the features of both the Ghost Trap and PKE Meter.
