DJI Avata 2 leaks are piling up. Little was known about the Avata’s successor until recently when it surfaced at the FCC in the US and in a hands-on image. Since then, retail packaging leaked online, as did a few short videos of both the drone itself and its associated headset.
Now, numerous sources have posted Avata 2 marketing images, many of which we have embedded below. Based on these images, it seems that the Avata 2 is taller and wider than its predecessor. With that being said, the Avata 2 should be about as wide as the Avata though, at approximately 180 cm.
Additionally, the same leakers have revealed more images of the drone’s entry-level remote control, dubbed the RC Motion Control 3 that will ship with Fly More combo orders. Moreover, the Avata 2 Fly More Combo and Remote Control 3 have already received their first unofficial unboxing video. Thus, it would appear that DJI has already shipped retail units to some parties. Unfortunately, a release date and launch pricing still has not emerged yet.
