With its release less than a month away, players will soon finally have their hands on Elden Ring Nightreign. Many of us played the network test and though we thought of a few ways to make the game better, it’s the same Elden Ring goodness you’re expecting. If you didn’t take part in the test and were wondering if your PC can run it, chances are you can. The official Elden Ring X account recently released the minimum and recommended specs for PC users, and it’s remarkably similar to the original Elden Ring’s.

Elden Ring Nightreign is coming up, and I am beyond excited to see returning bosses from previous Souls games, such as the original Elden Ring.
What you’ll need to run Elden Ring Nightreign on PC
Luckily, if your PC can run Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree with no issues, it should be fine for Nightreign. Aside from a modest bump in the CPU requirement, the specs will look very similar.
Both the minimum and recommended requirements shouldn’t be much of a suprise since Shadow of The Erdtree demanded the same as Elden Ring, and the former came out just last year. Though Elden Ring’s requirements were probably a bit higher than most people were hoping when it launched back in 2022, they aren’t so bad by today’s standards. Notably, the Elden Ring required 60GB of storage as opposed to the 30GB for Nightreign, so that’s good news if you’re lacking a bit in that area.

The listed PC specifications refer to Elden Ring Nightreign on launch day. These requirements could change in the future.
Interestingly, there’s no word (as of now) regarding how well Nightreign plays on the Steam Deck. The original Elden Ring ran surprisingly well on it when properly optimized, though the performance and visuals were obviously nowhere near that of a gaming PC. Theoretically, the Steam Deck should have similar results with Nightreign, but we’ll have to wait until it comes out to test it.
The wait is almost over
Considering the PC requirements for Nightreign are more or less the same as Elden Ring, it’s safe to say many people will be enjoying the latest Soulsborne adventure. The worst thing about this news is it also serves as a reminder we won’t get to experience it until May 30. Luckily, there are similar games to play while waiting for Nightreign, which should make the wait a little more bearable.
