Ding Dong! Ring's Battery Doorbell Pro Falls to Its Lowest-Ever Price at Amazon

These days, doorbells do much more than just informing that someone is at your house. The Battery Doorbell Pro is our favorite Ring video doorbell. It has a large field of view and advanced motion detection, plus all of the usual notifications and convenient two-way audio capability. Usually going for $230, it’s not the cheapest offering but ahead of Amazon’s October Prime Day the price has plummeted to just $150 — a match for the lowest we’ve ever seen it go at 35% off.

The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro provides head-to-toe HD video and 3D motion detection with both a bird’s eye zone and bird’s eye view feature. Package Alerts let you know when a package has been delivered (additional subscription required) to a specified zone. It also works with Alexa and offers a low light sight that provides enhanced imaging sensors so the picture is clear whether it’s day or night.

In his Ring Battery Doorbell Pro review, CNET home security editor Tyler Lacoma found the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro to be “a master at keeping an eye on the front of your house, with excellent visual and audio clarity. The incredible number of features provides a mountain of customization to work with and some of the best cloud video-sharing options I’ve seen.”

While he noted that it will take newcomers some time to learn the app and there are some issues with package detection, Lacoma still found the positives far outweighed the few drawbacks. And this was without the current $80 discount taken into consideration.
