Timekettle has unveiled its latest product at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The W4 Pro earbuds, in real-time, provide two-way translation for phone and video calls.
The W4 Pro earbuds can automatically translate calls in 40 languages without user input. The translation process has a latency of three to five seconds after the speech. According to Timekettle, the new feature “allows two-way translations to facilitate effortless cross-lingual conversations through any telecommunication application or traditional phone system,” as reported by TechCrunch.

It not only supports 40 languages, but it also supports 93 different accents with onboard AI for conversation summarization. You can also share one earbud with someone else for face-to-face translations (with the same latency as mentioned above).
Timekettle’s Babel OS powers the earbuds and supports quick transitions, the anticipation of dialogue, customizable lexicons, and translations that attempt to capture human emotion and tonality. This operating system will also be available for older Timekettle models.
The W4 Pro can work as standard Bluetooth earbuds for music and phone calls. They can offer 6 hours of continuous translation, with a 10-minute quick charge providing an extra hour of use.
