Design and display
Galaxy The S25 looks practically the same as its predecessor at first glance. Both have a flat display with very thin bezels, flat sides, and three separate cameras on the back. Perhaps the only visible difference is the front.an elaborate ring around the rear camera lenses, which was obviously inspired by the one on the jigsaw puzzle Galaxy Z Fold6. The phone’s dimensions are 146,9 x 70,5 x 7,2 mm, making it 0,1 mm smaller in height, 0,1 mm smaller in width, and 0,4 mm thinner year-on-year.
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display has a diagonal of 6,2 inches, FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 px), adaptive refresh rate 1-120 Hz and maximal brightness of 2600 nits. In other words, there has been no change here year-on-year.
Performance
Galaxy The S25 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which, compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, uses Galaxy S24, increases the performance of the processor unit by 37 %, graphics units by 30 % and neural units by 40%. In addition, it is also more energy efficient, thanks to being manufactured using a 3nm process (vs. 4nm process at Snapdragon 8 Gen 3).
Camera
Galaxy The S25 has exactly the same rear camera setup as the Galaxy S24, i.e. 50MPx main sensor, 10MPx telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 12MPx ultrawide-angle lens with a 120° field of view. The front camera has not changed either – it has a resolution of 12 MPx again. The changes were only made in the software.
Battery
Galaxy The S25 is powered by a 4000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4,5W reverse wireless charging. While this is an area where improvements could be made, Samsung decided not to change anything.
