Several users are now reporting that Google Search has swapped its classic “I’m Feeling Lucky” button for an “AI Mode” button instead. In some cases, the AI Mode button appears to the right of the search bar with the I’m Feeling Lucky button remaining in its usual spot.
AI Mode is an experimental feature that offers an AI-generated search experience powered by Google’s Gemini 2.0 language model.
