OnePlus has announced that its flagship OnePlus 13 series will debut globally on 7 January 2025. The launch event, which is expected to be virtual, will be livestreamed in India at 9 pm IST. The ‘series’ suggests that more than one smartphone will be launched, including the OnePlus 13 and the rumored OnePlus 13R.
The OnePlus 13, already launched in China in October, will be available in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean color options. It ships with Android 15-based OxygenOS 15, supporting AI-based imaging and note-taking.
The global variant is expected to retain the specifications of the Chinese version, which includes a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and Dolby Vision. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
