GRAND RAPIDS, MI — West Michigan Works is launching a networking event for tech professionals called West Michigan Tech Trails.
The series of free monthly hiking events is taking place in the Grand Rapids area, and it’s designed to provide an “alternative networking experience amidst the natural beauty of West Michigan’s parks and trail systems,” according to a news release.
“West Michigan Tech Trails features a mix of lunchtime walks and longer afternoon hikes, offering participants a chance to network in a unique and relaxed setting,” a news release said. “Each hike will include tech-related content shared before and after the event. Participants are encouraged to bring water and a snack. Following the hike, some locations, such as Cannonsburg Ski Area, will offer food and beverages for purchase.”
The Tuesday hikes are once a month and take place through October.
